Another toy to play with, and it really is fun! Luci and I have used it to go Geocaching, and gotten some good kick mileage in along with hunting down those silly little treasures. The footbike is a nice alternative activity, and I love my bright pink model. It even fits in the back of my little 2 seater car.
Thanks Mike, for bringing this new adventure vehicle to SoCal!

I bought a Track model from you two years ago and just saw this and wanted to tell you something. I really have to say thanks for so much.
I WAS a bummed out x-ish cyclist struggling with the demands of my new family and my non-riding and 30lbs and my....you get the idea. I have just been going out in the evening at least three times a week to do the neighborhood loops until I feel satisfied. Yea that is a strange word--satisfied. It is too simple to understand. Being on a scooter and zipping around my neighborhood reminds me of being 7 years old and running outside after dinner until the street lights came on. And that has been good medicine!
I have lost now 35lbs 'just kicking it'...! I feel great, my mind is happy, my wife is happy, my boss is even happier. All because of a scooter. I'll take it. Thanks again for the tips! When are you guys coming to Oregon?! Max U.

After having my Footbike Track model for almost 5 months/500+ miles, I am an addicted kicker. This is the perfect cross-training workout for any cyclist/runner/skier/beer pong aficionado. I have Geocached, bikejored and downhilled on it and it never disappoints. Being a first-time dad there's not a lot of time but 30 minutes on my Footbike keeps me in shape for the epic rides on the weekend. Here's to many more years of just kickin' it.

Mike
I talked with you last week and purchased my footbike the next day. I put it together on Thursday, rode it that night, the next evening, some on Saturday and last night. It is definitely a great workout. It is faster than I thought and very smooth. I am only pushing about 4-5 miles, but am building up. I haven't run since I got the bike, and even cruised to the store to pickup up some goodies for the kids. Just wanted to drop you a line. hope all is well.
Take care
Jamie

I just wanted to tell you that my friend and I went on our first Footbiking/geocaching outing today. It went so well! We both found that our Footbikes are perfect for geocaching when there are many geocaches in close proximity and you can't drive to each one. We had a great time and got some good exercise. We didn't have a ton of time but we went for several miles. I think footbikes can be very appealing to geocachers. Having my gps mounted to my handlebars worked out just perfect!

Ok, It is 11:19am and I am still reeling from my first kick around the neighborhood this morning...
My Footbike arrived a few days ago and I put it together in 15 minutes and took it for a spin around the cul-de-sac in the 29 degree cold. (BTW it snowed on Monday and is below freezing for the first time in my 16 years living in the Sacramento area). I waited a few days before I took a real kick around the neighborhood hoping that it would warm up in the early morning when I had time to workout. My urgency to really try out the scooter overcame my dislike of freezing tempratures and I ventured forth this fine but cold morning.
Bundled in sweat pants, tshirt, hoodie, ski jacket, gloves and a hat I took the first tour on my new Footbike. Push, Push Push, switch, wooble, oops, almost crashed, push, push, push, switch, Rinse, Lather Repeat... Until I arrived back at my driveway.
In a word Dang! That was hard. I need to sit down and recover. Halfway around the .88 miles I had to stop and walk.
I have not breathed that hard in a long time. (I am a first degree black belt that trains 3 times per week). I pushed and kicked the Footbike for less than a mile and I can still feel the effects of this workout 5 hours later. My feet don't hurt, my knees don't hurt but my lungs are feeling the effects of breathing hard. That is a good thing.
Wow! If you want to get a great cardio workout with little impact and fun outside get one of these now!
Now the real question... Will I go out tomorrow morning in the 30 degree temprature and push the Footbike around the neighborhood again. You bet! but I will leave the ski jacket at home.

Thanks so much for letting my friends and I try the Footbike at your demo day. I have already put a computer on it and took it for a few spins around the neighborhood to check out the Christmas lights and twice to pick up sushi to go (I need a basket). Today I took it on the trail near my house for a 7 1/2 mile ride (kick). I feel I got a great workout and had fun at the same time. I want to start logging my miles so I can celebrate my little milestones. My bike helmet light mounted to the handlebar works perfectly for night.
There are a lot of people out there (like me) who are looking for something to incorporate into their weekly exercise routine. This is perfect for those who hate the gym and HATE running.
I am looking forward to Geocaching on the Footbike. I will be able to cover a lot more ground than on foot and it will be a lot easier than taking the bike out.
Needless to say, I am very satified with my purchase.
Teri
Thank you!

This footbiking thing is no joke! I can't say enough about how working out on it has elevated my fitness from every aspect. I am stronger on my bike, stronger in my running (and not beating my body up), and if I am not careful I am going to be able to dunk a basketball soon--at 51!
Thanks for bringing such a killer "toy"? to the US.

This testimonial is a first for us coming from a footbiker that was originally introduced to the Kickbike brand of scooter. The team at FootbikeUSA definitely know what a Kickbike is, that is why we all own Footbikes! Our decision to publish this testimonial is because we are as much advocates of the sport as we are of our own brand. Footbiking Rocks! And here is William Jones telling you why!
I'm a biker, rollerblader, and Martial Artist. I've been biking for over 10 years, using my bike as a means of transportation. I turned 68 July 26, 2009. I saw a Kickbike for the first time three years ago, and asked, "What is that called?" The guy said that it was called a Kickbike, and told me where to get one. I look around, but didn't see anywhere in New York where I could buy one. I saw the link at Kickbike America, went there and the rest is history. I kick from New York to the Bronx and then to Brooklyn; I hardly touch the blades or bike anymore :) My Kickbike is quite the conversation piece, people look at me like I'm from Mars, but the children, when they see me, they shout, "hey, look at that cool scooter bike!" At first, going uphill was a little difficult, but now, no problem at all. Man, I love my Kickbike- I hope to see more footbikers on the streets of New York City in the near future!

My Footbike and I have had some great adventures. It's the smoothest,
friendliest scooter I've had. In fact, it seems to make new friends on it's
own - I don't even have to be kicking it. It looks great, it's lightweight, and
has an overall feeling of quality. It all adds to the fun of kicking it.
Next: we're going to commute 11 miles to work by kicking side streets,
a canal towpath, and a greenway recreation trail.
Thanks for the adventure vehicle!
